Hey all,

I really like the design of the Jotun, but I was unimpressed by its mapping. Additionally, 80m is a bit too large for some purposes... so for NTV I've remapped and resized it. It's now only using one texture, much crisper, and is a more reasonable 42m long. You can use it, or not; but posting it on the Inferno Archives would be appreciated.

No use to us since it's too small for the exectioner bomb, and looks tiny to it's EA and Vasudan counterparts.

Ours is single map too, so is the Banshee, Gagana and all of the other old models.

I figured as much. Ah well.

and your version used a single map? The one I have uses five 512*512 maps, grizzly1-grizzly5. They're awfully stretched and since they mirror both sides of the model it's wasting space as well.

I sliced the ship in half and baked it to a 1024^2 map.

Oh, I suppose you must have a newer version then.

Do you know how BIG its bombs are? They'd never fit on an Ursa-sized bomber. The Executioner is larger than an SF Dragon, if I remember correctly.

Not every campaign that wants a bomber that looks like the Jotun has a bomb the size of a small fighter.

I'd be making references to In Flames' Jotun right now, but I'm not sure if anyone listens to metal. :(

Ah the hell with it.

If I did mind, do you think I would have posted it here? :p

See? I knew there was a demand for it.

We have an Ursa mark 2, it's the next bomber down from the Jotun.

Err... It is a WIP, right?
Seriously, it doesn't match your other models quality standards...
