That reminds me for some reason of one of the BattleTech tanks, Swamp...it's probably the missile launcher. Or the fact I'm crazy.

Not really. That transport is the equivalent of a chopper, and it's all it carries (besides drones).

Perhaps he´s considering selling the model to some gaming company. Wouldn´t it be nice if we were actually paid for having fun?

Considering the awesome ammount of detail and excellent modelling technique, i wouldn´t be surprised if this model was used on some cutscene or CGI movie.
