But Fox isn't particularly conservative, thats my point. the American right has little to do with conservativism. Where once there was a sound policy based on fiscal responsibility and small government, now there is only intolerance and warmongering. The Republicans today are spearheading the biggest, most intrusive government ever, the most militaristic, the biggest deficit, the most supportive of corporate welfare and the least tolerant in recent years of civil liberties and personal freedoms.
We assume that the right is conservative, when in fact those things aren't necessarily equal at all. Fox is run by a Republican with a republican agenda, not a conservative. Make the distinction.
If we use that definition, that all major American TV stations are conservative, in that they have blind faith in the government, in that they act like good little soldiers and not like journalists. There was a set of statistics that analyzed the media covergae before and during the war, and something like 90% of on-air guests were from the government or military.
I realize I'm being anal about this, but yeah...oh well.
