Wasn't CBS the station that was going to air that Ronald Reagan mockumentary/dramatization mini-series while the man was still alive but in a decaying state? (To say he would have forgotten about the series in a short while would be just WRONG).

I believe it took much protesting to get CBS to either grow a conscience or a profound fear of loosing viewers to pass their demon child to a premium cable channel.

CBS moderate leftwing? (hate that word "WHATEVER-wing" I'd rather describe them as irresponsible.

FOX on the other hand respected Bill Clinton's medical condition and wished him well. Though "right-wing" they at least show respect and have more consideration.

I forget which network airs the "HardBall" show, but that show makes the Bill O'rielly Factor look l"ike a timid little girl" hour.

On a side note, I'm glad Michael Moore is being sued now for making up a headlines on a particular newspaper in Farenheit 911.

So, what you're saying is that the truth should be held back because it will hurt someone's feelings? Or is it just that this particular person was President, so you value them above others. I'v seen plenty of shows where various criminals are exposed, from thieves to redophiles etc, and no one objects to that.

No one is above criticism. And even by your logic, now that the man is gone, CBS should be fine and dandy to air the series.

I don't know the exact details of it, but from what I do know, it wasn't anything that hasn't been publiclly known about for decades, such as Iran Contra or October Surprise. AFAIK, it was mostly the goings-on within the family and all the personal stuff, which is open to interpretetion, including a negative one.,

But why falsely portray a family by making up negative soap opera dramatization based on what, speculation and here say, when the REAL family is in pain helplessly watching his deteriorating condition.

Everone is entitled to an opinion, but but theres a time and place for it. How would you feel if your grandfather was dying and you and your family was suffering because of it, then you turn on the TV to see actors portraying your family falsely in a purely political mockumentary.

 THAT IS JUST DUSGUSTING. IT IS INHUMAN, TASTELESS, AND JUST WRONG.

And don't give me freedom of speech BS. You do not have freedom of speech without the responsibility for unecessary pain infliction. I am not saying the man after his passing is beyond critism. There are other ways to carry out your political agenda without causing collateral damage to a hurting family. Attack a man's actions and policies, don't attack his humanity by completely making up stories about his personal life.

The show quoted Reagan as saying "those who live in sin die in sin" about people with AIDS.  There has been absolutely no proof he ever said that, or anything of the sort.

I'm pretty sure the Reagan family is tough and can take it, disrespectful as it might be.  Just like Iraqi families when one of our bombs causes "collateral damage."  

I don't think FOX being caught red handed is anything big.  All media outlets do this thing now and then.  Certain people just jump on it right away and make it seem big.

Thats right Vanguard. I forgot that CBS was not intentional in hurting the Reagan family. They were after killing Ronald Reagan's reputation. Thats right. I said that because I found it curious and even a little amusing that a cancelled, fictional show could cause so much grief and angst in light of events happening in what I usually call The Real World.  No twisting of your words was needed to imply BS.  You did all the work for me.  Different pokes for different folks, I guess.  Carry on.
