Never really intended for FS2, Rescued and secured from Lar's model dump about 2 years ago.. Behold, the Shivan-Shadow hybrid SEPTERRA!
   
   Yeah I know the hud is messed up but I was testing a mod at the time and the HUD table is bugged (my fault)...  
   
(now someone turret and path it please) :D

yikes... bad idea! for turrets they MUST be seperate subobjects, im 99% sure.

also, could we pleez get a better pic? i cant see...

BTW, when making swinging turrets, when you make the barrels, do you combine them? or just group them together?

I see nothing either Shivan or Shadow in that design, sorry.  And the textures don't even give what's there justice.

It's barely textured. Looking at the image at night time, it's absolutely horrible. :shaking:

And it looks like a wedge. Or possibly that the LODs are incorrectly made, and all of them are being renderred. I can't tell. :ick:

Lar's abandoned it, but it was mapped for textures (it is completely textured)... Just cause you don't apprecite my interpretation doesn't make it lless useable :P It's One lod.

   Besides this thing has one hell of a broad side (4 beam cannons above and below on each side) not to mention 3 dead forward bow ones. Only weak spot is directly behind...

Ok. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that it's missing a custom UV mapping on those red chunky parts. But the streaking. That's a definate nono.

Also it looks like it's one of Ryx's nero's, only blockier, crossed with the zephyrus, and a wedge. Sorry to have to cross you for a second time, but it's a fugly model.

But don't take it to heart, since it is only my opinion.

The model looks pretty awful to me. And that big red texture with the black lines... looks like Spiderman's head mask thing.

It does need retexturing, most of it, but the model itself has promise.

Actually it's just a piece of spidey's mask as main texture but remembr this was 2 years ago adn I still don't know much about textures...

   Oh I really don't care what other people think (besides it's not freespacey at all), I just like that kind of design cause it looks like something you's see for an evil anime type race.
