A good new fighter?

I kinda feel like something's missing in the fighter department of HFH (which, to be frank, is rather light on the fighters, and very heavy on the cruisers), and I wanted to add another good general-use fighter (Terran, preferably) to the mix before I VP'ed up the whole mod package and got some FREDers. ;)

Anyone got suggestions? I've seen a lot of the stuff out there, and none of it really fits the kind of style I'm looking for (except the GVF Shu, which I'm planning/hoping to use).


The other thing is, I have a Fenris-derived model in the MOD, the GTC Peleus class. The model is fine (Thankies Jabu and Fulgrymm) but it's the skin I'm worried about; a lot of the skinning on it is rather plain and grey, especially on the midsection and front-underside.

Ooh, also. Try and make sure the fighters suggested are Retail-friendly, if you could. :)

I'd use the Kulas if it were less piratey in its skinning...

I was gonna use 'em for my campaign. Soon as I get round to startin' it like.

I can't actually remember any decent fighters other than the Donar, to be honest.  There was the Claymore HTL, but I somehow managed to lose the pof & lods.... all i have left is the 3ds model on my website.

Allso, does nayone know hat happened to that Hercules/Loki hybrid? The ship that looked like it was pasted together from spare parts of both fighters?

With the new 3ds plugin in the testing phase some of the 3Ds people may love to sharp their conversion skills on that model.

Basically. But I doubt you'll let anyone see Flipper... For a little while atleast...  (Hopefully you finish whatever it is you're using it for, 'cuz I dun like working for dead projects :p )

What, the TRF Capson or whatever it was called? I remember seeing that somewhere, for some campaign that never got finished (IIRC it was on Ross128... that was a LONG time ago.)

Yeah, I belive that was it...

It looked you you cut a Herc and a Loki in half, and just pasted the two bits together..

It would work PERFECTLY for the campaign I'm planning...
