I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that it isn't a freespace vessle.  It is not only clearly designed around a naval frame, it has way too many little spiky protrusions from a normalish hull to be of any of the three FS races.

Those spikes could be antennas or some other new accesory for all I know. The shape resembles a WWII submarine, but I still don't know what it is.

It's what happens when you put flan in a mailbox, then pick it up and use it as a weapon without closing the mailbox door.

You can get a good range of about 50 meters if you do it right.

so far:
it IS a freespace ship
its neither shivan, terran, vasudan, nor ancient.
it looks unlike any other ship (like a boat, but thats the angle )
it IS a model, despite whatever blitzerland says...
it is essentially similar to a beast infected ship from homeworld...

all that, plus the really weird part: although this is a never-before-seen-style-of-ship, and its not any of the afor-mentioned races, its not a new race!
