Actually Simutaneous Multi-Threading (SMT) is a technology that is in fact quite useful.  It's just not nearly as useful on a desktop where response time is the most important.  However, it does give a different feel when you're using a SMT-capable cpu.

Frankly, the only reason why I write-off HT is because of the way Intel tries to hype it up.

Grim put up a thread at SG, saying that he's got some RL issues right now so he will be leaving that comminity.  I think we may see less of him and his work here as well.

dont worry, its not forgotten, i just have too many things to do ATM. especially the RL problems. bah, maybe ill post up at hard light, so people wont bother me too much >_>
