While the forums were down i came up with some comcept stuff.

The first being a defence platform.  Not a turret but a hole platform.



The second being a corvette or small destroyer.  Having some trobble ballooning the hull together.  but i think i can overcome that problem.



The third begin a dreadnought.  This one workes in game.  Mostly needs textures and maybeea little more detailing.



And last but not least a Terran attempt as Shevan design.  Running on the theiroy that the spikes help keep the weapons cool.  This allows more powerfull weapons to fire more often.  Jug in size.  Needs more details.

I especially like the corvette. That wouldn't look out of place somewhere like TVWP where you have ships built at around the same time as the orion. It has the same sort of greebled brick design the orion has so it could easily be a contemporary.

That shivan-esque one reminds me of some concept I had last year.  That sentry gun reminds me of some heavy defence platforms that were getting some viewing over on SG.  I'd put the link here, but sadly the images are no longer being shown.  If its some kind of a server issue with the user's host and they come back, I'll link the thread.

@Trivial Psychic : Not necessary   Those bases are done by me, and I will post them this evening myself using a substitute FTP. (My own had a IP-Change and there are still some DNS-Problems, the IP works). I only have to look for a new name of the shivan one first, because it is double used.

@Boewolf : I like the last one. But don't make it a terran-shivan  hybrid. The shape is good, rather go for another shivan-cruiser  (or maybe a corvette). With the dark-shivan textures this will look pretty cool.
