H2 is much more hyped game and has title "most awaited game in gaming history" I think VU did bad decision lauching  HL2 almost same as H2

I doubt it, you don't get far on that level of business by making monumentally stupid decisions... You're right about the hype though. Halo left me on the edge of my seat, as I suspect it did for millions of others - and that's why the continuation/conclusion of the story has far more appeal than HL2's fancy physics and lip syncing.

True dat, Sid. For me, it's not so much the engine (though that's amazing), but the story that I want resolved. Half-Life's story just sort of confused me, and much less has been made of it when compared to Halo.

Btw, did you say "High Charity"? That's the name of the Covenant Holy City at the end of First Strike...

Well I didn't so much like Half-life story, HALO story is more epic and there is so much more.  so i prefer halo. And I just can't wait see where Halo 2 story is going

They gave the option of reserving the standard edition, or for $5 more theres one with the making of the game, and all this other useless stuff that's still cool to have. It's probably the one you're supposed to get when you preorder, but since this is EBGames, they wanna charge more for it.  Everyone else in the mall is doing the same thing...
