This yould be nice or? I mean, when a big beam fires throught a ship, it would be very nice when there is a hole in it.
Maybe some other NOT GONNA HAPPEN effect too.
what do you guys think?

Maybe the admins should add a filter that auto-locks any thread that had "NOT GONNA HAPPEN" mentioned in it more than twice? :lol:

I don't think NOT GONNA HAPPEN is necessary or would even look very good in a space-sim anyway.

Since someone brought it up, the closest way to get NOT GONNA HAPPENing would be to copy the method used by the NTF Boadicea model.  That model had the ability blast off sections, but not in the same way as conventional sub-models that just disappear and shed momentary debris when they're destroyed.

I dont think big holes in ships wouldn't be rather appropiate take for instance a Sathanas Juggernaught, do you really want shivans floating out in space or that on your ship hull? :drevil:
