No. Not quite. I've been Vas for about three to four years. If you can find my old buddy Fozzy, ask him.  I had set up an ooooold BBS years ago, where my title was something like 'The Vasudan' or something equally dumb...

1) Carl's been a Shivan since the days of Tell A Story on the VBB, when he was identified as such. I forget how long Raa's been Vasudan.

Speaking of the horror that is TaS, I wonder if anyone ever bothered to archive it. (I think it started growing errors after it hit Page 64 -- not that there was anything remotely good in it after about page 25.)

2) I'm 19, but I have some time in between school and work to do some FS-ing. Yarr.

3) Heh. Silent Threat was one of the most rushed expansions ever.

4) Volition switched publishers from Interplay to THQ, but Interplay retained the rights to the Freespace franchise. And then they did nothing with it. [V] wants to make FS3, but they can't legally, unless they get THQ to buy the FS rights from the now-dying Interplay.

I've got to admit there are several hills around here that weren't there when I was a kid.  But say what you like, there are definite compensations for advancing years.  I just spent a couple of hours playing with my 2-year old granddaughter - to me, that's pure joy .  Yeah, you don't understand now, but - if you're very lucky - you will.

I get it, an I'm only 15. My youngest cousin couldn't form coherent words the first time I saw him, and after a 4 year period, my brother and I had to walk around with the little guy hanging onto our legs, babbling about the 2nd grade.

Kids are adorable, right up until they hit 12. Then it turns to something resembling the deepest pits of hell.

I am the third person in your age bracket.  We won't go into how many times i have been "29 years old"  let's just say more than twice.  how do i get so much FS time?  I own my business.  It was either this or Golf, and since blowing shivans up is more fun than chasing a little ball all over a big field.....wait a minute.....i chase dragons and manticores all over a big ass sky....anyway...you get the point.
