Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat has only hours to live, according to un-named Palestinian officials quoted by news agencies.

Earlier, officials at the hospital near Paris where he is being treated said his condition had worsened and his coma had deepened.

I like how his rich, young wife who's living the high life in Paris has the audactiy to start flinging accusations at Arafat's inner circle, who've spent the better part of their lives working for the Palestinians in the territories. I'de like to know when was the last time she even set foot in the West Bank, much less the besieged compound in Rammalah.

I've heard from several places that they're keeping him "alive" so that they can make arrangements for his burial, which according to Islamic tradition has to take place before sunset on the day of death.

Don't know how reliable that info is though.
