Aparently the bush administration is flushing out the CIA and the State Department of people disloyal to Bush. Prepare for the Night of Long Knives.

I am sorry but, this has gone too far.
NOW I AGREE WITH THOSE THAT COMPARED BUSH TO CLARK

I don't really have problems with some of his agenda, like tort and contract reform, limiting the power of the judiciary, and some other things; but when you start flushing out people that you happen to disagree with strictly on the premise that they won't play ball and keep their mouths shut, you have gone to far. Part of me says wait and see exactly what happens. But this is gone too far in my opinion.

While I don't agree with the action, it is logical.  Liberal Democrats have shown that they are willing to compromise national security to further their political agenda.  By removing them from locations where they can do potential harm the President has made the nation safer.

It would only make people 'safer' if the governing body were truly working whole-heartedly and selflessly for the people of America and were never ever tempted to stray from that path.

Any takers?

The question you should be asking yourselves is not 'Why is the CIA leaking info?'

The question should be 'Why is the US government suddenly trying so hard to stop it?'.

And Bush, Rummy and co. aren't compromising national security at all when they start wars in order to make themselves richer?

Please, don't tell me you believe that Dubya is actually acting in the interests of the American people when he bombs seven shades of crap out of helpless countries?

I meant that they were and are willing to leak info that could put Americans abroad in danger.

There is no logic to madness. Don't forget that this country was founded on dissention to the way things were.

Or maybe when a jackass lawyer revealed in a lawsuit that the CIA was able to listen in on Osama bin Laden's satelite phone. What a flaming jackass[the lawyer].

But for the time being I will take a wait and see attitude.

Paranoid fantasy. You really are losing it Lib. Now all democrats must be enemies of America? Did you fall through a time warp from the McCarthy era or something?

That's a little harsh on Charles Kennedy....

Seriously, that's a pile of McCarthy-esque bollocks.  What next, you're going to call them commies?

As I recall, the operative in question was the wife of a senator.  She also was classified as deep cover because of the classification level of the documents she analyzed.  I'm not defending it, just saying that it's logical given certain democrats' behavior.

Kara, whether you want to believe it or not, there are certain people in Washington that until recently were in power for a period of some 40 years.  Now that they have been reduced in stature, they are willing to to do or say anything to get that power back.  To the point where they begin to look foolish.
