I stil don't get it how this bit of info has escaped me. I'm modding FS2 for years now, and I don't know how to make a VP file!!

What program do I need  (VPwiev does only have an extract option..) and do I have to keep the directory structure?

There's a VPConstructor somewhere. Try Kara's FAQ, or maybe Stealth's website.

Kazan made one of the programs that you can use though. A search should turn it up.
