It's a GOOD thing only the mission is called Redemption, cause that's my campaign from march of 2002!!! (look in the sig to see the projects I started when I joined

) OK so Gundam is dead SUE ME!
FS2 (Beyond Redemption) Where the shivans are more than we think! Actually it was a seperate campaign to link FS universe to all the other genre mods (NEXUS the ALL-MOD). That's Stithe2000's Mod now ...

I seriously think you have a good idea for the mission but how it applies to the campaign as a whole may need some work. (the old 3rd armed faction) thing gets kinda old without a solid story behind it. Otherwise you've just made yet another skirmish mission anyone can plug into a few times and then move on to other campaigns.
Plus if you are doing a strictly FS2 oriented mod then you're in a worse position than I. at least I got some out source help cause of the different Genres i'm doing. HLP is saturated with FS2 core mods (from Black Water Ops to T-V War)...
Don't get me wrong, HLP is chock full of talented people, but you're gonna need to show something worth getting their attention to come help (especially if you want a dozen or so uniques).. Plus other stuff. The majority is just too busy with their previous projects.
I would highly recommend that you try to help out in other camaigns FIRST. Grab what experience you can and as soon as the next project is completed bum rush that team and see if you can wrangle some help. Plus new people (like yourself) arrive every now and then. Just give it some time and have some patience! (it took Heru almost a YEAR to respond to me and make me a beta tester, for example)...
In the mean time, keep brainstorming, write your ideas down as you get them, and take a hard look at what otehr people are doing. You never know where inspiration will strike!

[EDIT] one more tip, EDIT button lower right of post is your friend! So is SEARCH link at top of page
I forgot to mention when you are organzed enough and have some material for the campaign you can ask Kalifeth or Sandwich for hosting and if there's room they will make a forum section for you (pending their approval). If it doesn't work out here Mathew Papa has a site. But I strongly suggest you think this through a bit more so when you are ready to get a team together you can put them to work right away and not have them waiting on you to create content... STORY comes FIRST!
Star Dragon... OUT!
