I used to have both, but then I sold my X-Box. And why? Simple. They didn't make any games for it that I would have been interested. And besides, I can play those old Playstation games on PS2, so why wouldn't I like it more?

Er, also because I can't think of any x-box exclusive games I want, either.  And PS2 gets Pro Evo and GTA earlier, and those are the only console games I play.

Ps2...all Xbox has is Halo 2, which you can rip and probably emulate on your computer soon enough (they got it working with Halo! )

As a system, the X-Box is streets ahead.

But, in the same way it whipped the Saturn, the Playstation is a better buy because of the masses and masses of games for it.

The X-Box suffers from Jaguar Syndrome. It's a superior console, but the pricing and lack of games cripples it's audience range.

Jaguar Syndrome is a bit of an exaggeration. Although the PS2 has twice the shelf space for games in most stores, the XBox is still the second most popular console on the market. Hell, some stores have stopped selling Gamecube paraphanalia altogether - even the Dixons 'superstore' in Birmingham has no trace of the GC these days.

That's cause no one cares about the Gamecube. Nintendo's own reputation and fans are hurting it. Nintendo has a rep for producing kiddie games and the like, and most of the games specifically for the gamecube were of that ilk. All Nintendo relies on is it's pop-culture status, such as Mario and Metroid. Otherwise, they're games are kiddie games that no regular gamer would ever pick up.
