Ok, i took down the pics on the other thread, and post them here.
Most of you have seen it anyway, so i´ll leave the older pics out, and just post the latest ones.
Polycount at 38.470. Only the inside needs work now, the exterior is mostly done, i think.
Note the back doors and ladders, for scale purposes. It´s a 2 level vehicle, first floor/level is for transport, navigation, and electronic warfare, while the top level is for computerized weapons handling.
Armed with 14 fourteen .50 caliber machineguns, 4 four AAA 40mm rapid fire cannons, 2 two anti-tank .88 cannons, 1 one quad missile launcher armed with Hellfire and TOW missiles, and 1 one big ass 200mm Howitzer!
Capable of transporting a small contingent of support troops.
Crew of 17. 2 drivers, one navigator, 4 electronic warfare experts, 8 gunners, 1 medical officer and a commanding officer.
Top speed of 25mph, and a REALLY bad gas guzzling problem. Note the fuel drums on the side...

Uh... for fun?

Who knows, maybe someone decides to make a tank MOD, where small tanks replace the fighters, big tanks replace the cruisers and corvettes, and really HUGE tanks like Styxx´s replace a whole fleet of Sathanas...
I always thought that the FS universe was lacking the homeworld invasion side, you need to have land forces to conquer a planet. From orbit all you can do is destroy it, but not conquer it.

On a side note, i think Styxx should consider using that tank for a UT2004 assault map. If he could carve the inside and make it a walk-in, this would be an awesome mission for UT. There is one mission in UT, where you ride on a concoy of vehicles across the desert, blowing up locations on the convoy and moving on. Just imagine that thing in its place...

That...is a tank. No questions asked, no holds barred, that is such an ub3r tank!

While styxx's is no doubt a tank - it looks like more of a super-ub3r Dimensional fortress tank as opposed to a pure tank (which is basically a big, bad-ass gun on a mobile, armored platform)

If those gas tanks are sized as standard 50 gallon drums, there's no way you're fitting 17 guys+troop contingent in there.
