...from Middle Earth, what would you be?  An Elf?  A Man?  A Dwarf?

I'd be a Hobbit.  And a Took at that.

Well you can shove your pansy elf where the sun don't shine.
I'd like to think I'd be a man, of some royal lineage, but more likely be as you suggested, a Hobbit, and most probably a Took as well.
