I just installed an X3 chip in my Xbox. Now all I gotta do is find a ****ing dashboard of some sort and I can play illegally downloaded and copied games!

Dashboard is the main interface for Xbox and playstation 2, the one you get when you power it up w/o a game inside.

Meh, for the money one'll save by not buying games one could just buy another one for Live purposes. And then some modchips have a switch to turn them on and off, as well, so it might not even be a problem. Go modchips

My brother got a chipped xbox.  It's completely dead to all non-legit and most legit games now.  Oh, and it's stopped playing movie DVDs as well.

Oh, and by 'it' I mean the second one, because the first x-box was returned because it never worked (he bought it chipped).
