erm help.

Something's up with my Volume Control (the little thingy in the bottom right corner of the screen).

It automatically goes down to 0 (lowest, no sound) whenever there is no sound playing. So for example, I can play a song, but in order to hear anything I have to go into volume control and turn up Wave Balance. When the song ends (so, whenever there is even a second of no sound), it goes back down to 0 and I have to turn it up again manually.

Is there a way to lock it in place or something? BTW, I tried restarting.
