Envmapping works fine, shadows looked good, but were a serious system drain, particles and stuff are being looked at iirc.

Bump maps etc are going to have to wait, I think, the texture system is straining at the seams anyway.

That's the situation as far as I'm aware of it anyway

yeah, those shadows on a hi-poly fenris slowed down even my 6800gt to like 45fps thats why we need normal maps,

in the meantime, i want that pretty looking new hecate under my tree
