Mining new precious gases and minerals
in the newly formed Capella Nebula. Although the fall of the Capella system was a great loss, it gave the GTVA the first newborn nebula to mine, along with the discovery of several new gases and minerals scienests believe can be used in better beam compression.[/i]


I'm not entirely happy with this one just yet and will most likely touch  it up a great deal more.

There should be one big light source (off-screen, perhaps?) because a new nebula will be glowing like a sunava*****.

Actually i did but I had to tone them down in order to keep the models from looking "angular" as everyone here hates that  

But I managed to retain the yellow/green casting on the hulls in the right spots

Funky. However, they do look like they are outside the nebula rather than in it - something to try for your next render

hmm, one thing... the remnant of a supernova is a nebulea... so warm that any ships trying to enter it would be melted in the second... and that would last for thousands of years.
