Do you guys mind if I use the Phobos corvette design in a new campaign I plan on making in the near future? I plan on high-polyizing it and retexturing it and I would be happy to share the results with you once I am done . I will of course give the proper credits to the person who designed it) although I dont know exactly who that is...)

IIRC, Dark designed it way back when the VBB was around.  Inferno isn't the only campaign using it.  I'm pretty sure it's fair game for public use.

Dark designed it for Temperal Mechanics, but never finnished it. The first time TM was cancelled Aldo decided to make a variant (Phobos ADv) and since I liked the corvette I tried making a version, which is the current Phobos. Was my first model made from scratch.

It was released as a public download as I didn't make it for the campaign.
I followed the specs of the TM corvette, that's why it has far more turrets than most other corvettes

Who says the Deimos needs to be replaced.
It's only 30 years old, Fenrises were still being used at lest 32 years after they were first made.

True, the Deimos is a fairly recent design. But the Inferno timeline did state that the GTVA fleet went through an immense systems upgrade. Also, its possible that the large ammounts of civil war (the Vega war and such) forced Command to change design ideas. For instance, the Phobos has more turrets than the Deimos IIRC.

Still, the Deimos could possibly still be in use.

Sure.

I wouldn't recommend using the Ehreos though, it's supposed to be quite buggy according to some who've used it.

Thanx and thanx. Ill still try ,  want that fighterbay. I fredded some test missions with Ehreos and no probs so far. Also while learning fred I used R1 and noobed out couple missions, worked there too.
Need little help credit wise, I understand that Bobboau made some of Ancients stuff. Dunno witch ones.
