No (as painfully as it is to say this), don't uninstall IE. Besides, I doubt you could. It's an integral part of Windoze (which kinda explains the OS security problems, eh?). Just... don't use it for surfing. :)

Actually it has created some problems for me. Most importantly, for some reason, my copy of Firefox will not load this site properly. It does it at my university, and it does it at home. That is on two different connections. IE always works though. I could never figure out what was going on........

The SpySweeper, SpytBot or HijackThis didn't fix the problem.  And I installed Firefox. So far I like it :) Using it right now....

I had coolwwwsearch y  bug two weeks ago, and spend 3 hours using all avaliable
spybot kilers and...nothing.
When I trie to do something in my registry then my windows didn't even start. I was forced to format my HDD, install my all programs again (another 3 hours)
I SWEAR THAT i COULD KILL THAT MAN WHO CREATED IT, I COULD KILL THEM ALL.

I think I have the same bug...  Haven't really checked it 'cos it downloads some **** to my PC.

Okay... Quick note...

If you got similar problem.. USE ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM!! I ran AVG and it fixed the startpage bug.
