Cleaning crew problems
No matter what I try on the first mission, one of the two following things happens:

1.) My computer usually restarts when I hit the "commit" button to start the mission.

2.) The only time it has not caused a restart, the Nahema's were invisible, as were the weapon signatures of my primaries when I fired at them. In addition to that, I get a "disco freespace" image that appears onto my screen every once in a while.

I have tried creating a new pilot, and that didn't work. But I have no idea what could be causing the restarts. I tried some other mods, and the worked just fine. Anyone have any ideas?

My computer didn't like the first mission much either: if you didn't kill enough of the fighters, rapidly, it would CTD when the next...umm...ship entered the system.

It's possible your computer simply can't handle having two destroyers, three corvettes, and 28 fighters in the mission at once.

I know for sure it can handle the capships, I've had a lot more than that in a mission. So appearently the first mission DOES have some bugs in it.

Are the fighters coming in waves or is that how many there are to start the mission?

That's how many there are at start. A wing of Manticores launches about ten seconds in, so it goes up to 32 then.

I think that's a little bit of overkill.
