I've been thinking about starting a TC up for Freespace 2, but there really is no point unless there is some interest in the matter, right?

So the TC woould be based on Starcraft. During STarcraft you got to play on the land and in space using the units, however what if YOU were one of those units. (Well mainly a pilot)

Flying the Terran Wraith fighter, or the Protoss Interceptor or even the Zerg Mutalizk (However thats spelt lol). This could open the way for a really good TC and some good missions, and the fact the SCP allows to be done in modding areas it all fits in.

What do you all think? Ideas, flames, go-aheads?

I think you'll struggle to get enough people at the present time, in all honesty.

It has been suggested before, IIRc.  I'm not sure if a model ever made it as far as ingame.

Would be extremely awesome, but difficult. IIRC, Blizzard also frown on making models of SC units - they shut down SC3D after all.

Really?? OMFG, that are bad news, i love Starcraft and i hoped for SC2 in 3D.

They frown on fans making them - if/when SC2 comes out it will inevitably be in 3d.
