does anyone even remotely like my name for the giant freighter/transport?

Calypso has definately been used as the name for a Triton (I believe - some freighter/transport anyways) in FS2 retail.

Agreed, I remember having seen the "Calypso" somewhere. Just can't tell where.

As for the "Tethys" - pity, I liked that one. ;)

BTW, I've seen that "Oceanus" has already been used for a destroyer. So the Okeanos, which I didn't consider a good name in the first place, is ruled out. As far as I can see, the others are still open, though "Amphitrite" is too similar to "Triton", I guess.

Yeah, yeah, the Calypso is a Triton freighter in FS, but it is also the name of a user-made model. Probably a fighter or a corvette.

this ain't the 90's, TopAce. (Literally speaking, since Tetris was one of the first games to come out with the then technologically marvel of gaming: the non-color gameboy)
