Maybe cause you stuck the CD in to check and it's now playing them off the CD?

Aren't you running with a No CD exe? I seem to remember telling you to use my HotU crack pack at one point (although I could be confusing you with someone else).

If so that would explain things. The retail exe would notice that you hadn't installed warble.vp and ask for CD2 or 3 to rectify this. The hacked exe wouldn't so you'd just simply lose the music (and CBanims most likely).

The solution is to reinstall and do a full install this time so as to have all the vp files on your PC rather than the CD.

Well it seems to work fine if I have the CD in the drive, so I think that would be unnecessary.

Unless I can download a copy of the file somewhere.

The music vp can simply be copied straight off of the CD (Both CD2 and 3 have a copy).

As long as you remember to put the CD back in the drive and change to CD3 halfway through you should be fine. But if you forget you'll miss all the command briefing animations.

Um, I have a similar problem as another person before me: when I used the replacement model for the Fenris and the Leviathan all I get is the engine glow.

just a guess here, but I think the replacement model is not using the proper skin.

Alternatively, is there a way to only use the fenris and leviathan high poly model from the model.VP?

The models use the textures from the mv_textures.vp file. If you don't have it you won't see anything.

My suggestion is to simply get rid of both models and download the 3.6.6 VP files (except for mv_music which won't work if you're using 3.6.5).

I have the mv_texture already, from the mv_zpack dated 25 of apr 124mb

If you're using Zpack you don't need either of those models actually. They're there because some people didn't want to use the high poly models but had problems because the tables expected them to be there.

I have the zpack released in apr, but I'm not using the modelVP or the musicVP.
I'm using texture, core, effects,adveffects and the low poly in 1024X768 in 16 with no graphic features

Zpack contains all the other VP packs. You shouldn't need any of the others if you have it.
