i just downloaded launcher version 4
                             fs2_open_3_6_debug
                             mv_aseffects.vp
                             Mv_zpack.vp
               then i click the launcher and select the fs2 open debug path.and then apply and run. i dont see any performance difference i dont know what to do. What are the flags i have to activate. do i have to download any other file. please let me know

Why do you use  fs2_open_3_6_debug? Doesn't the normal work?

[EDIT] And have you tried FS2 Open v3.6.5?

i think i downloaded the wrong version.
there are three versions
install version
regular version
and debug i downloaded just the debug version
but shouldnt debug version not work fine

But try the normal FS2 Open.
And have checked this already?

I'm a little confused here. What do you mean by not seeing a performance difference? By downloading the Zpack you've downloaded all the effects which makes this this the biggest performance hit you could expect (especially if you then run the debug build which runs extra debug code on top of everything else).
