OK, I've registered at burbsworld, I've installed every thing in their respective locations, but IT DOES NOT WORK! I can't figur out how to configure FS2 for FS2NetD, AND, every time I start a game,, FS2 crashes. help please?

and don't tell me to download tom's build, I dl'd the latest version.

huh? i haven't tried the singleplayer yet. i just tried to join a game, i got to the breifing, and FS_open crashed with no error message.

yes. but, it's not entirely stable on my pc. tom said you could run it like retail...

So you've tried both Tom's build and FSO, and neither of them works for multi?
You created a new pilot for multi games in the barracks?
Did you make it sure you configured the launcher to use the correct EXE?

Try again, it'll work, eventually..

yes, i created a new pilot, since i never had one in the first place... do tables have anything to do with it?

If you didn't remove you MediaVP's yet-> read this.
 if you did, move on...


Tom's build is retail with the SCP netcode, so it's NOT compatible with any of the new stuf. (like mediaVP's, and 'specially the tables in it)
Sounds to me like you still have some of those, because the same happens to me if I forget to remove them....

Yah more people need to get on. I suggest check FS2Net for when games are, or host them yourself and wait a little bit.
