Kewl Nico, come to Brissy, its way better than Sydney... :D

Don't forget that our Winter's are still generally in the 20+ degree's zone... unless you goto Sydney. :p

I could give you a tour of Brisbane goto the Gold Coast have a gander maybe even pick up some chicks, then get hammered like all hell in the pub.
That's probably the highlight of Aus, is the Pub's RSL's and Sports Clubs.
Should be fairly cheap for you too, not quite sure how the french currency runs against ours though...

@ an0n, watch it though, we might flog the cash you do make ;)

as if you'd go to brisbane, you come to sydney and you get to see me. :D and steak, of course. well... i dunno any advice about the money and all... are you working now? maybe you could just not eat for like three months and save enough money for an airticket... on the other hand, if you wait until december/january, there'll be heaps of summer jobs as well as it being hot enough to go to the beach.

Don't know him near as much as Steak, and, to be honest, I don't even know Steak that much :p ( oh, and Grug, I know you even less than Thundy :p )
But I notice Ed isn't posting here :D

Btw, french currency is the euro, and, afaik, it does pretty well theses days, especially compared to the yen and the dollars ( the two currencies they use as references on radio, don't ask me why the yen :p )

Hobart? Only real city I know of down there.
My Aunt just visited Tassie though, and my friend did too. Think my mate was at some Scout / Adventurers Jamboree and went all over the place.

Hell everyone I've spoken to has visited Tassie in past few months. Weird. Must be some cult going around...

@Nico, well I probably know you less, but I invited you anyway. :)

Still, even if you don't visit me, Brisbane's better. :D

But if you do visit Steak, I'm tempted to come down and meet two complete strangers. Hell, either one of you could be wanting my death, but I wouldn't really be worried meeting anybody unless it was an0n...

i dunno why he isn't posting, maybe he doesn't feel the need or he hasn't read the thread or something. if you're really serious about trashing- er... crashing at Steak's place, maybe you should pm him and make sure he at least hears about it before you turn up with two suitcases and a spare month? i'd invite you to my place, but since i live at home when i'm in syd, i'm not sure what my parents would say to some random french guy turning up on our doorstep, not to mention the fact that i'm not in syd 5 days out of 7.

I'll be free from july to october ( uni :p ), so whenever it's most appropriate.

i have holidays july 2nd to 17th, and sept 24th to oct 9th. cos i go to a diff uni from steak our hols have slight variations, but that's approximately the time. i think he has a three week hol from july 2nd. prob july would be a good month, cos that's inter-semester for us. unless _he_ has any objections.

i haven't talked to steak recently so i don't know what's going on, but i'm sure he'll get on icq sometime between now and july. no rush.

It doesn't have to be a full month, i'd do with 2 or 3 weeks, and you probably wouldn't have me on your back all day long, far from that ;)
Was thinking, tho, July, that will probably not be possible, I'm supposed to have some eye surgery around then. But I don't know when exactly, which is very annoying :doubt:
