I think I like HLP because I've been here long enough to know most of the regulars in a strictly non-biblical sense. Yes, we often do fight like cats and dogs, and yes, we are the biggest collection of viewpoints I know of, but that's one of the reasons I like it here so much

Theres a hell of a lot of talented people here, so in that respect HLP really has succeeded in Bringing Modders Together, even if the outcome is occasionally similar to Bringing Critical Masses Together

That, and also, HLP is pretty active at the same time WITHOUT being either ultra strict and disciplinary to the extent of every thread being a locked one, or being abandoned like a ghost town.

It sucks away my life, has given me nothing other than some otherwise entirely useless skills, and I don't even know who I'm talking to most of the time.

Nah, this is the only forum I regularly post on or look at. It's nice and small, so I sort of know what kind of person most of you lot are, and (apart from the odd noob-tard) you're all pretty intelligent and mature. Nobody (well, almost nobody ) trolls or flames regularly, and there's a nice atmosphere. It's busy enough that there's always something happening, but quiet enough so you can catch most things and not miss anything major.

HLP = good.

I love it here.  First of all, there is a shivan bastard who ALWAYS eats my lunch.  That alone is worth staying.  But theres more!  Not only does this place consume way too  much of my time, but the time consumed by this place fills my head with uninteresting and irrelevant facts about politics and nothing.  Finally, it is damn near impossible to get a banning around here, so I get to see g0atse every time someone throws a temper tantrum for being disciplined.  God, I love this place.

HLP = Win .
