Contest Entry - Mystery Fighter.
I was waffling on wether or not to submit this, but its really by far the best thing i've done so far, so here it is. I'm pretty proud of it, I managed to get some really nice lines and its only 308 polys.
Texturing is kinda crummy, I dunno diddly bout texturing. =(

Morris, the ship design itself is beautiful.

Try to contact someone such as Dark, Bobboau, or Max Sterling (talk to Max) on texturing it.

I'd love to use this in tBE if it had a solid texture that appeared like a hybrid of the Herc2 and the Mara.

Once again, talk to Max for texturing, and when you have a final .pof version please E-Mail this baby over.

Totally awesome.  I think alot of people would appreciate being able to fly a Shivan hybrid ship in FreeSpace 2.

As someone said, it looks like a cross between a Mara, a Herc 2, and a Perseus.

A totally awesome design!

Oh yeah, I built it completely from the ground up. It came out looking more like a mara than I had origionally intended, even, but if you compare this to the mara side by side you'll see that while they have the same kind of configuration, they're very different.
In fact, it wasn't till this week that I finally figured out how to edit existing FS2 models. I don't really like doing this much because thus far I havent found a way to combine separate objects into one wireframe, so I always wind up with multiple subobjects, which is a pain. I like building them from the ground up much better, they're so much more stable that way.
