Is there anywhere I can get a big ModPack which includes all of the Star Trek ships, I know where the Models and Tables are but I can't be bothered going from model to model because there are about 40 Different packs.

Perhaps if I clone myself.

So much stuff to do. Trek has faded away in my mind. But I am preping a Cardasian Galor class in a couple of days. Once again without the turrets.

Ok people who want the Trek ships. I can port them over, but its YOU folks who will have to add all the little details to make the ship fully functional. For now on, I'll include the Truespace file along with the pof. How does that sound?

That sounds great, especially for us who have size issues.

Some of you may not know but I'm working on converting MANY more ships than have been commonly referred to as I have the support of Feral Yards (they have Gorn, Hydran, and Mirak/Lyran ships as well.
I'm also working on securing permisson in regards to a Tholian fleet.
I LOVE the kittie Cat's fighter I converted (Trek version of Kilrathi, the Kizinti! Original source, Larry Niven in the 60's 70's)

Omni just give us a single table ships.tbl entry and necessary weapons.tbl entries! ill then just copy and paste them into bigger files! just please DONT stop putting ship data in!!! (screams)

Wouldn't modular tables be better suited? that's pretty much what I did with a few ST ships...

Indeed, and a lot of the entries for a ships.tbl entry are optional now.

Give me ~1 hour. I should have a single .vp with all the trek ships done so far up by then.

btw, Omni: your jem'hadar bugship shield fix doesn't appear to be accessable. Any idea what's wrong with the file?

well, I got everything into a .vp - only problem is that it's 136 Mb in size!!!

I'll upload it for the moment, but unless someone supplies alternative places to put it, it won't stay there long.

Compress it as a self-extracting RAR...on the retail VPs, you can go from 1.17 GB to 666 MB.

hmm...ok, i did as you advised, and it looks like it can compress to about 30-40 Mb. It'll be up in around an hour's time.

FYI since you mentioned 40 PACKS I assume you mean the sectorgame downloads by Ludi. Warning at least several ships CANNOT be used as they are directly for BC2 and basicly any of those designs are off limits for a "mod". You will have to DL them yourself if you want them PLUS they are not finished, sized by book numbers (but in FS2 we all know how big that is compared to fighters, not by much) and most of all NOT turreted!!!! Just letting you know what's up with that...

errr....these are all Omni's trek ships...and that they number less than 40?

Was that what was requested in the first place? if it isn't, then no matter, I'll take down the package to save a bit of space.

Sorry Singh I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Kiet or others that might DL the Ludi packs at FS2 Sector, as Omni never had a "multi pack of ships" AFAIK they have all been individual releases ( and a few dual releases)...

Adonnis gave his permission so I converted his S-Fighter pack (3 ships)

He has tripled the number of Fed fighters now! WOOT!

I hope to be working on custom weapons for them once he sends me the stats and genereal idea how his streaming plasma and kinetic torps work as they were made specific for these fighters...

I went through the table files (ships and weapons) and cleaned it up since it would crash when I tried to load.

I still did not take out the ships not included in the vp, so don't click on them or it will crash.

At least with these two tables it will load so you can look at the ships

Oh man.. just saw the defiant model. Beautifull. Defiant class has really become been my favourite class of Trek ship.

At the end of Enterprise's second season when the word 'Xindi' showed up I was hoping they were the Kizinti.
