I take it you don't drink.

Beer is good for you in so many ways.
You have to drink copious amounts of it to do any real harm. It's not going to hurt anyone if you drink responsibly.

XXXX Gold and XXXX Bitter, are generally mainly what Queensland drinks.
I don't mind some others though like Tooheys New and a couple of others.
Can barely stomach VB though, damn that stuff is the Green Death.

Castlemain XXXX Bitter is the same as XXXX bitter. Same logo anyway.
If I'm drinking beer, its usually XXXX Gold.

Most of the time though its Bundy Rum or Wild Turkey Burbon.

I did a google on swan, and found Swan Gold, but I'd say that its probably only in WA, because I don't think I've seen it anywhere, but next time at the pub I'll ask around.

Needs some condensation or something to make it less "flat", but it's good.


Icespeed: I wouldn't say it's typical - half the people on this forum aren't even old enough to drink. And alcohol is only a problem if you drink lots, regularly. True, if you do that then it screws you up quite nicely, but the odd pint doesn't hurt. Red wine is actually good for you - it's beneficial to your heart IIRC. Obviously not in vast amounts, but a glass or two a week is recommended...
