guess what guess what!?!!!

we had a lab this morning on venepuncture, which for those of you not versed in medical jargon (or who aren't nerds/geeks/techheads) means the art of drawing blood. it's great. i passed the assessment and i get a little certificate in a few days time saying i'm qualified to work as a blood collector assuming i want to do that.

it's sooo satisfying to see that first squirt of blood into the collecting tube. *sigh*

hmm, i dunno.

i'm too dumb for neurosurgery, i'm too unambitious for cardiology, i'm too disgusted by urology (and gastroenterology, come to that), i don't have the patience for paediatrics, i don't like the horrible sounds you get in respiratory medicine, epidemiology is boring, i can't stop laughing at gynecology, and i'm too clumsy for obstetrics. and psychiatry's for the rejects of medicine who can't handle being with people.

so i guess i'll be a good old gp- general practitioner. but that's yet to be confirmed.

Hehe, so as a GP you'll see all those things first, and then refer to a specialist.
