Yeah, I know, there are countless topics about this... and (I think) Singh made a pack with them... but they don't freakin work! How can I get Singh's pack to work? I installed the VP to my FS2 directory, but the missions included just open the Akira as a Ulysses, and I didn't even bother to try the other one... what's the deal?

EDIT:: Ok, so now they work.. but.. how do I make missions with them? And can I get the regular ships to work with them?

Well, first of all, unless Singh did some serious cleaning up of the files before creating the pack, there may be some redundancy or ships that aren't included.  The tables that Omniscraper inclded in the original releases had entries for models that weren't included.  If Singh didn't clean it up any, I'm affraid you'll have to do it yourself.

Secondly, its best to uninstall the  VP and any other files included, into a mod directory, separate from your primary FS2 stuff.  This requires FSO to function, but for all intents and purposes, so do the models.  You'll need to select the mod directory from the FSO launcher.  To create your own missions, you'll need to add a -mod command line to the icon for FRED2 Open to select the proper directory.  If you don't know what these are, I suggest you migrate to the SCP forum and do some serious reading.
