As part of the testing I'm doing on Launcher 6 I've been playing about with multimod and I've encountered a bug in the tech room with total conversions.
I installed TBP R2 (the only TC I could find) and then ran it. As soon as I clicked on the tech room the game crashes.
If I go to the campaign menu, choose a B5 campaign and then go to the Tech Room everything works.
When I quit out and choose no mod however the same behaviour is observed. A crash if I go directly to the tech room, normal behaviour if I pick a campaign.
I'm guessing that the crash is related to the fact that when you play a total conversion the game can't find any of the FS2 ships in the tables and then crashes out when trying to display them.

Taylor's fs2_open_T-20050103.exe didn't crash but instead gave me a techroom with no writing, no list of selectable ships and a rotating Aurora Starfury or Ulysses.
I tried Inferno as well but since that does use a few FS2 ships it never crashed. I did managed to get it to refuse to update to the correct list of ship entries after you did go into the campaign room and select the correct campaign for the mod but I couldn't reproduce this every time.
Anyway not a critical bug even if it is CTD. Selecting the correct campaign solves the problem but I thought I'd post in case it leaves anyone scratching their heads later.
