My first vasudan mod
first off, does it look vasudan. Its a cruiser with a heavy emphasis in the anti fighter/bomber dept.

here it is in game fending off a wing of maras

I'm thinking of calling it the Aker (Egyptian gaurdian of the sunrise and sunset)

It looks a little small for the armanment in the screenies. Maybe an SVas in the blue thingie, anything more than that and it's sort of cheesy - for FS2-era, at least.

It looks pretty Vasudan. Kudos on capturing the feel well.

Edit: BTW, have you heard about the SCP? It looks like you're using Retail. (Meh, I sound like the MS Office assistant. I should really get to bed.)

There are many good reasons to go SCP if you've got a good enough system... :thepimp:

Looks like one of those beasties from ST : The Wrath Of Khan.

That is in no way a bad thing

the hull is 350m and the beams are actually AAA, but they do look bigger in the screenies, the full list of armanments is,
4 AAA beam
4 Standard Flak
8 Terran Turret
no anti capital ship weaponry.

Basically a cruiser for killing fighters :) Like the Aeolus but even more so :) Sounds like a real nightmare :)

Are you making this for general release or something specific?

Very nice work.  From the sound of that loadout, I'd think twice before going head-to-head with one. :D

Looks very nice.  I'm waiting for the release.

Not too shabby. Now that you have the general idea down, you should go further in depth into the design. Add little bits and pieces of interest, and definately tile the textures just a little bit more.

Ok, enough with the buttons

It looks good, very vasudanish, but I feel like I've seen it somewhere before.  Wasn't there an OTT Vasudan cruiser with a very similar prow?
who needs a signature? ;)

your thinking of the mafdet (i think by aldo). I made this one to be the partner of the mafdet. one being for the anti fighter role the other being more of a cruiser killer, the front and color schemes are similar

I like it, but it needs more detail and different tiling. Right now it looks like a bomber.
