I was wondering if anyone has made a mod and campaign to fit into a timeframe that predates the VT war?
If not I am planing one with four distince factions. Earth Fedoration, Mars Colony, Jupiter Consordium and the Outcasts.
Earth Fedoration controls the inner planets from Earth in. Marse Colony controles Mars and most of the Asteroid belt. Jupiter Consordium controls some of the Asteroid belt and out to Neptune. The Outcasts is like a lepper colony (no offence to any leppers).
The three big factions are in constant war for controle of the system. The jump nodes are yet to be discovered, fighters need to be droped into combat by warships (as they don't have a subspace drive), warships are small and undergunned, although the fen will make its appearence known at some stage.
There will be some ships used by all factions from earlyer exploration. But they will all have there own military. Except The Outcasts. They are the scraps of the system.
