Now that fighter texture. That looks f***ing awsome!

I love the darkish theme it has. :D

btw. I'm fairly sure there is a "fighter creation tutorial" around here somewhere. Thats where I started, all those years ago...

Try searching for that string. But if you need one on one help with a specific problem, than I can help out.
But Blender, why powerful and free, has an icky and un-user friendly interface...

Not to spam, but I'm having issues adding to the Species.tbl.... I can't seem to add in an entry to the table and show in the TR. I have re-made pilots and even tried alot of ways to get it to show in my TR. Any suggestions?

Do I have to edit a .cpp entry for this thing?

Thanks, Grug. I tried making it look not-so shivan. People over-use the red/black theme that Shivan fighters use so much, that I think true hybrids would have a much different look.

The CVF Camros is the result of hybrid armor technology research during the Vasuda Isolationist Movement. The captured personnel during 'Operation: Tempalar' released technology and information on the rogue GTI rebellion projects in hopes of thier release. The surviving Hammer of Light leaders, who escaped during that operation, have gone outside of GTVA known space and re-initated the deadly project. GVF Serapis fighters have been reported missing since thier public post-capella production, and these Camros fighters are believed to be those stolen ships. With this in mind, there are estimated to be only about 200 of these ships out there. These ships are deadly fast, manuverable, and extremely dangerous - piloted by radicals who will destroy all who oppose them. Destroy on sight unless your directives require otherwise."

Well, here's the intelligence entry that won't work...

The Expansion Campaign
Quote

"In 2368, The GTVA began a campaign to search for new, unexplored systems. The Expansion Campaign was a joint effort on both Terran and Vasudan alike. As with many Campaigns- came complications and selfish greed, moreover from the Terran sepratists, who lost thier official allegience after the BETAC convention.

Thier desperation to be recognized as a non-vasudan government, caused many Vasudans to react with similar feelings of racial superiority. The GTVA Security Council acted in an effort to prevent any possible attention to incidents in the various nebulae and systems where hostility would break out.

The Ribos Incident was unfortunately NOT censored from new attention. The Bombing of the Ribos Pilot Academy killed the Vasudan Representative from the Ikeya Station along with hundreds of other personnel. This incident temporarily strained ties between the two races, but did not hinder the GTVA's co-exsistance.

The 'Vasuda Isolationist Movement' was the result of Vasudan ethnocentrism.

The Vasudans had recovered much more quickly then the Terrans had during the Reconstruction period. After the GTI incident, Vasudans were quick to watch traitorous acts among the Terrans within thier own organizations. They realized the threat of another GTI rebellion, and began to even watch thier own. Terran influence upon the Vasudans was considred, by some Vasudans, a sin.

The 'Children of Vasuda' (CoV) was formed and began finding it's ethnocentric beleifs to be popular among it's own kind, beginning a pan-galatic movement to cleanse the Terran taint. This faction was considered a threat, but not-so much along the lines of the Neo-Terran Front. The beleif currently is that the heads behind this organization are some of the HoL relgious leaders, and many members of the fanatic group.

Although there was much distress during this time, many systems were discovered, and the stable nodes were added to the public GTVA Known Systems charts. The Systems not added to the public charts were either not added for thier unstable Node travel, thier uninhabitable conditions, or even the effort by the GTVA to gain ground within these system's resources. But The GTVA was not exactly successful in completely hiding it's Expansion Campign results.

A movement to the east of Ikeya began in 2369, and the colonization began to be very popular among all Terran and Vasudan alike. The hopes of wealth and well-being was the hope of all and still is."

They expand like this, even after what happened at Capella?

Well, regardless, I look forward to this campaign. Take your time, fellow FREDer. :)

They expanded 'Eastward'  past Ikeya. The thought by the GTVA was that the Knossos devices were leading too far towards the Outer Rim. (I think that's the proper term: Only know of it as that from Babylon 5).

Ikeya is a known, and more stably defended area, even during the Great War. The GTVA believed that expanding towards this would not create such a disturbance with Shivans.

But good point - I'll make not to bring it up in the campaign. (I'm still writing it...making models as I make missions on paper.)

Been slow, but It's just me working on it.
