I direct you to a nonpartisan source for information on Mr.Snuffleupagus.

Please note that Alpha 1 has made no public appearances, nor made clear his stance on any directives. In fact, rumor has it that Alpha 1 may actually be mute. He has no background to speak of, and there are two mysterious gaps during his previous record of military service, which some speculate may have been due to him going AWOL. There are also pervasive rumors that he was alive and well over three decades ago.

Seriously though. let's face it, even if Alpha 1 did shoot snuffle, it'd be days before his brain registered, he was the singly most stoned character I've ever seen on daytime TV ;)

So I voted for him.
