I thought Frigate=Escort?

Why does everyone have these misconceptions? It's not like it's hard to check...

I believe that classification is not that important. Even USNavy has destroyers, cruisers and frigates all with nearly same hull lenght and displacement. Only difference seems to be the original 'designers intent' on the vessels mission.

Oddly enough 'Corvette' is no longer a used military term, posibly because they come somewhere below Gunbots, and possibly the Regimental Donkey.

Corvette. FFL. The Nanktucha(spelling?) I-III classes come to mind. The Russians call them "rocket cutters", but the USN thinks of them as corvettes.

The French have a super-light surveillance frigate that's sometimes considered a corvette too.

Renegade Resurgance had a Terran gunboat. I think that was what you were aiming for.....

Although to be honest I didn't really like the model for that ship. It looked like someone took a hacksaw to a Hippocrates.
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Well, the Bombers are damned big vessels admittedly, but then, as someones who ran a sprint across the wings of 2 Hercs side by side, during the Farnborough airshow (Q Shed were bored, nothing had caught fire yet)  I can say nothing but Yes, bombers are effing enormous ;)

Yep, though you have to be a bit careful, not all the skin on an aircraft can take the weight of a human, especiually near the wingtips, which makes you wonder how they cope with Flak ;)

Soo..maibe 5 times bigger is too much but it hasto be much much bigger then a bommber yet somewhat smaller than a cruiser..!
It has to have a max top speed (max speed + afterburnes =50 m/s)

These things are crucial in my campaign story and I wantto get them right...! There are suposed to be operated by the elite and there should about 200 of them..! Of course many get lost in multiple heavy engagements but they doa lot more damage then they receive!
Also they have an advanced sensor shield and cloaking thecnology!

Well, a B52 is around 54m long. A Large Destroyer is around 150-180 Metres long. So I'd say about twice to 2.5 the size of a Bomber would be about right.
