Does anyone know if this is legit? I found it on eBay, and I think it's supposed to be the German version of the game, though I am not sure. I never heard of this pack before. Can someone clear this up?

Yes, it is a valid German version. It contains retail FS2 and a bunch of new missions. I´m not sure what those missions are, but I don´t think they´ll be worth any extra money.

How come the German gamers got it right, and re-released it? Geeze... They had two new campaigns, among other things. Wish I knew German.

The new campaigns are almost certainly player created ones you can download elsewhere. Pretty much the same as with Silent Threat.

That said good on the germans for bothering to do that when they re-released :yes:

I'm German, you know...well, mostly German.

For some reason, I'm reminded of that "Family Guy" epsidoe where Stewie and Brain are in Germany on a tour bus...

Well, apart from the over-expensive Dimension pack, there was a also a cheaper re-release from White Label containing both, FS1 & 2. I never had to chance to get a copy of Silent Threat, though. Wish I get could get it somewhere. I don´t even think it had been released here at all.

I have an extra copy of Silent Threat. Is there a way you could get a White Label package for me? If so, how much money would I need to add in?

i won't, but you should know that it's 1939-1945.

seriously. what happened in germany between 1937 and 1952? nothing important. WW2 was over. Hitler was gone. all there was was reconstruction, and i don't see why the Germans would want to cover that up.
