Hello,

I'm currently looking for any good reference-material for a Star Wars Nebulon-B Fregatte. I already have some scetches or drawings, also a few low-poly models, but nothing is in there which gives me the requested detail (not even Sci-Fi-meshes has one).

The Question is, is anyone outthere who has the Star Wars Episode V (Empire strikes back) on DVD and can make some screen-Caps ? At the ending of the movie there are some very good views of the fregatte flying close and slow by.

Thanks, but I already got those (including at least a dozend of others). Though most are either lowres or from more or less the same direction. Also some of them seem to be slighty different from the original from the movie (not much, but the differences are visible).

I also found a 17K poly model, which is a rather good reference, at least for the middle and the back-part. But the front on this is also a little strange (and has no hangarbay), thats why I hope someone can give me some more movie-shots (mosty from the nose and the part, where the middle-parts is connected from the back).

@Top-Ace : Thanks for the picture  but as said, I have nearly all pics or reference that "google" did show me including a 17.000 Poly model, but I still  need those movie-shots.

Somehow all Models seem to be somewhat strange in the nose, and I want to doublecheck with the movie, before I start working on it. (Unfortunately my VCR is currently not operational, because of that I ask for some DVD-Shots)

Oh man, all these details will be a pain to model in truespace, I wish I could texture better, so I could make some details using textures.  I hope I can keep the model below 6K polygons
