Does anyone have a link to download VPView that isn't Decent-Network.  I'm, getting .1 to .3kb/s speeds there.

Also,  the reason I need this is so I can edit the weapons table so that a beam replaces a common weapon like the subach or something.  I want to be able to use beams in the main campaign.

What do I need to copy and overwrite in the tbl?

You know... if you're using FS_Open, you could just do www.freespace2.com and switch your weapons to beams.

Thats probably what IU'll do, sometimes it can be a pain though.  And at the time of writing this, I didn't know you don't fail if cheats are used in fs2.

No you don't fail.  Though using cheats can cause something that's not supposed to be able to happen to happen, and that can cause the game to go into a state of non-completion.
