Why aren't the SCP forums showing up? does this have something to do with the announcement by G5K?

Cobra, read.  Yes, it has something to do with that.  April fools went a tad over the top, so some things are temporarily offline.  To put it nicely.

EDIT: Wow, we're really ready to have things back to normal.  4 posts in 4 minutes, two fast enough to timewarp the original.  Impressive.

You missed the April Fool's day prank?! Oh, lord. The admins pulled a rather stupid prank in which an0n "hacked the forum," and even deleted most of the forums. I found out later it wasn't an0n, just an uncanny impression via the admins.

It's kinda sad when our own staff can do more damage than an0n probably would have.

Anyways, they'l probably restore the forums soon. Hopefully.
