this may be just my vid or something, or it could be 3.6.6. i was playing Sync when i noticed whenever i jumped out the ship stayed visible, but the shinemaps and thrusters were gone. i noticed this to be only applicable with HTL ships (Hercules, Perseus, and the Deimos showing up only in parts)

Let me guess, you've got a GeForce 2 or 4.  That's a known bug, and a very old one at that.

Yep.  That's the problem.  You should notice that any glowmapped parts get doubled when a ship explodes too.  It shows up in all builds since glowmapping was first enabled.

I have a GF 6600GT and I have the same problem.

EDIT: I cant reproduce this bug right now. I tried one ship (The bat - I forget its real name) and it warped out fine, but I do remember a ship not warping out properly a while ago. I would test more, but FS2 isnt playing and I dont have much time.

Can someone please post the link to the mantis bug that documents this so we can get someone to fix it?
