You didn't know?  Inter were fined £132,000 & banned from their stadium for 4 games.... pretty pathetic punishment IMO.  The Juve-Liverpool game also saw a number of incidents outside the crowd, and the Italy-Scotland international a month or so back saw Inter fans fighting with Verona fans at one end of the San Siro......

Italy has a big problem with it.

Meh... if you really want completely nutty games, just look at the River Plate - Boca Juniors derby... the fans are absolutely insane.  I'm just glad that the Old Firm derby doesn't - for all the passion & vitriol - have that level of violence, with the odd exception (mainly the 1999 or so one where Rangers won the title at Parkhead).

It's becoming a generalized thing here, people is frustrated with the government and they discharge their frustration that way...
